HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 5 years supervisory, highway and/or bridge experience.
Essential Functions
- Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with Highway construction projects.
- Manage field operations and coordinate work with subcontractors.
- Monitor and control project to ensure it is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to order supplies and materials to complete project.
- Continuously monitor safety and provide assistance in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention.
- Must have mechanical knowledge, mathematical skills, communication skills and be a team player.
- Highway and/or Bridge Experience is required
- Oversee field personnel, schedules and construction operations
