HALL Wines is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Southern Field Sales Manager to drive sales and expand brand presence in key territories, including Florida and Georgia. Reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, this role's primary responsibility is to increase on- and off-premise distribution, identify new market opportunities, and strengthen existing account relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Engagement: Conduct weekly in-person sales visits to on- and off-premise accounts, providing support, sampling products, securing new business, and ensuring inventory levels are maintained. This role requires spending approximately 80% of weekdays in the market, either independently or accompanied by distribution partners.
  • Relationship Development: Cultivate strong relationships with new accounts to secure placements and strengthen ties with existing accounts.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business and distribution opportunities utilizing updated prospect list.
  • Representation: Represent HALL Wines at distributor sales meetings, trade tastings, account staff trainings, wine dinners, and consumer events. Some weekend work is required to support the market.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve annual sales targets set in collaboration with the management team.
  • Pricing and Promotions: Ensure retail pricing and promotional programs align with brand standards.
  • Distributor Collaboration: Develop relationships with distribution teams and educate their sales representatives about the brand portfolio.
  • Education: Provide brand education to on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Reporting: Provide timely reports and updates to the Vice President of Sales and the management team.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and Alcoholic Beverage regulations.
  • Data Management: Document account visits in the Customer Data Management software (Karma) to track and enhance account relationships.
  • Regional Support: Assist with markets in the Northeast and Midwest regions as needed, in collaboration with the respective Regional Managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of proven success in fine wine sales.
  • Established relationships with key accounts in the Southern Region
  • Strong industry knowledge with a passion for fine wine.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in business transactions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with self-motivation and a drive to exceed goals.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team and think creatively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have a vehicle with the ability to travel within the local market.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable on our corporate insurance policy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel extensively by car and occasionally by plane. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
  • Residence Requirement: Must be based in a Florida major market (Orlando, Tampa, West Hollywood-Miami)
