Job Summary :
The Human Resources Intern is primarily responsible for assisting with day-to-day HR related support needs at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ : HOFV, HOFVW). This is a paid internship offering hands-on experience with HOFV while developing meaningful experiences.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities :
- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
- Assist in recruiting efforts across all verticals of the company including but not limited to : job posting, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, performing reference checks, communicate with candidates, and follow up with hiring managers.
- Help keep and organize personnel files in compliance, electronically, as needed.
- Assist in new employee orientation, paperwork, and start date management.
- Assist in handling employee inquiries and requests.
- Assist in organizing company events.
- Respond to the HR team, employee benefits, and other HR related matters.
- Administrative duties; updating job descriptions, offer letters, verification of employment letters, maintain job boards, and more.
- Work campus events as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
