Hall, Schieffelin & Smith, P.A., providing general and insurance defense litigation with a significant practice area devoted to healthcare law for over 40 years, has an immediate opening for an experienced defense litigation paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant defense experience. The individual should also possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
o Qualified, experienced candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant insurance defense / medical malpractice experience
o Working knowledge of Florida State and Federal court proceedings, including E-filing
o Experience in MS Office and Adobe
o Experience and knowledge of medical issues, terminology, and guidelines
o Comfortable with Discovery and trial preparation
o Detail oriented, motivated, organized and the ability to work with minimal supervision
o Performs other duties as assigned
