Job Duties and Qualifications
Job Description
Under general supervision, supports the effective operation and improvement of the Employee Relations Department.
Possesses subject matter expertise in Employee Relations and working closely with the Legal Department, responds to, investigates and resolves statutory and Company policy issues related to employee concerns and / or complaints.
Coordinates, directs and resolves escalated employee conflict resolution matters.
Analyzes and interprets HR data into meaningful recommendations and actions to drive strategic value for the organization.
Advises HR and business leaders across the organization on best practices.
Manages the candidate Individual Assessment background investigation process and U.S. compliance reporting.
Conducts training that informs employees and / or management about the Company's position to provide a positive work environment for all employees.
Supports the efficient delivery of processes, programs and policies through the application of specialized knowledge and skills, analysis, and business acumen.
Requirements
Requires an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Master's degree and Professional HR Certification preferred.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and / or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from HR Specialist II to Senior HR Specialist.
