- Average annual earnings are an estimation dependent on hours worked per week, overtime hours worked, product service line, location, and position. - Starting schedule: Two weeks on/1 week off, 10-14 hours/day *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*
Job Duties and Qualifications
- This is an entry level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Power Distribution Technician (PDT).
- Under direct mentorship, a PDT Associate will gain knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
- Assist mentor with LOTO of equipment and function testing to verify equipment readiness.
- Must have a basic understanding of electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
- Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware.
- Assist with rig up/down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections which includes deploying of medium voltage electric cables).
- Assist mentor with identifying unsafe conditions and suspending site operations until conditions are safe.
- The role is a developmental role that will work around three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
- This role is developmental role through OJT and trainings.
- It is expected that someone in this role is able to break out as an independent PDT within 1 year of start.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certificate in applicable discipline is required.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license.
- Employees are responsible for their own travel to and from Williston, ND for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the Halliburton facility for each workday.

Compensation Information
