SUMMARY
The intern in the Physical Production department will assist the entire department. The purpose of the role is to gain knowledge of the entire production process of making TV movies and network TV series.
The role fits into the Programming department overall to offer students a wealth of knowledge gained by a day-to-day participation in the process. We hope to encourage growth and opportunities for those with aspirations of a potential career in the entertainment industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The intern will assist with creating data spreadsheets for physical production as well as production calendars for the programming team.
- Assist with developing a production plan including schedules, locations, and budget considerations.
- The position will assist (or lead) with a search of Directors, Creative Producers and Department Heads (e.g., costume designers, production designers, DPs, etc.) for upcoming projects.
- Manage and create team calls for upcoming meetings.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Rising junior or recent graduate from a four-year university.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn new databases and budgeting software.

The hourly range for this job is $17.27. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
