What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant - Business Law position at Halloran Sage?
We have an opportunity for an experienced and skilled Legal Assistant, with business law knowledge, to become an essential member of a high functioning, responsive team that takes pride in working together to provide clients with their best path forward.
The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years legal secretarial experience in a professional services environment. The selected candidate will support a practice group that concentrates on business law, including formation, organization and structure of business entities, contract drafting and negotiation, asset based and commercial real estate financings and transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
The successful individual should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. The candidate will take pride in his or her professionalism, be detail-oriented, self motivated, and self-confident with the ability to work on a team or independently in a highly productive and fast paced environment. Duties include direct client support, document management, production and revisions, daily project scheduling, and other duties as assigned based on demonstrated talents and skills. The candidate must be flexible and able to work under transaction driven deadlines, balance multiple tasks, accept and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Strong computer and typing skills are a prerequisite.
