What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Detailer/Grounds keeper position at Halls Sport Center?
Halls Sport Center is a full service retail boat dealership in West Michigan. We are looking to hire full time Detailer/ Grounds keeper/ Dock hand at our Grand Haven location. Experience in the marine industry is preferred but not required.
Lines we carry include: Crownline Four Winns, Bennington pontoons, Mercury, Mercruiser, Volvo-Penta, Yamaha, and Suzuki. We offer competitive wages, paid vacation, health insurance, 401-K.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, accustomed to working in a team oriented environment, and possess strong customer service skills.
Job Duties Include:
- interior and exterior cleaning new and pre-owned sold boats for customer delivery
- cleaning and maintaining the boats for sale within our showroom
- inspecting stock inventory boats for cosmetic defects
- assisting with staging and cleaning boats within our multiple showroom locations in Muskegon, Grand Rapids and Grand Haven
- participating in the setup of trade show events and cleaning the units on display at the event
- Grounds keeping and moving of boats with tractors
