Join us as a Patient Navigator specializing in imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing. This part-time opportunity has a Monday - Friday 5pm to 9pm schedule, and is located in Glendale, AZ. Our Patient Navigators play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities
- Genetics education for high-risk patients.
- Registration and scheduling follow up appointments for genetic testing.
- Collection of specimens for genetic testing.
- Liaison between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians.
- Insurance verification and authorization.
- Maintain compassion and professional demeanor with patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians.
- 2 years of certified medical assistant experience in imaging highly preferred.
- Experience in processing insurance verifications and authorizations is required.
- Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a comprehensive assessment as part of the selection process.
