Start Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 12pm until finish
Schedule: Mon-Fri 12pm until finish

Position Summary:
Trims raw material to customer specifications in order to be cut for orders.
Essential Functions:
- Works with supervisors and production managers to schedule production.
- Cleans and trims carcasses for future processing.
- Inspects meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes and removes them as necessary.
- Separates meats and byproducts into specified containers and seals containers.
- Uses knives, cleavers, and other equipment to trim.
- Weighs meats and tags containers for weight and contents.
- Effectively completes tasks to reduce processing costs.
- Follows company’s detailed product specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Must have working knowledge of production equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to trim various cuts of Beef, Pork, Lamb and Veal in an accurate and timely manner.
- Follows company’s Quality Control procedures.
- Ability to problem solve in terms of trimming and product substitutions.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, challenging environment
- Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in English.
