At Haltom City, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Code Enforcement Officer. This role is responsible for receiving and investigating code violation complaints, enforcing building and municipal codes, attending court proceedings, and communicating with citizens who may be upset.
The successful candidate will process code violation complaints received in person, via telephone, mail, or email, respond to code-related inquiries, interpret and enforce City codes and ordinances, and issue violation notices and citations as warranted.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus two years of code enforcement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possession of a valid Texas Driver's License is required.
- Code Enforcement Officer Certification and/or the ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
