About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Property and Evidence Manager to join our team in the Haltom City Police Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing law enforcement property and evidence, including receiving, processing, storing, maintaining, and retrieving property and evidence obtained by law enforcement personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and property.
The Property and Evidence Manager will assist officers on scenes by responding to crime scenes, collecting evidence and samples of biological material for laboratory submission, and completing crime scene photography. They will also assist officers by picking up and delivering evidence and property to courts, laboratories, and other outside agencies.
