Customer Service Returns Associate

Hamamatsu, one of the world’s largest suppliers of advanced light detectors and detector systems for industrial, scientific, and commercial applications, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Returns Associate  in the Bridgewater, NJ area. Our customer base is remarkably diverse; we serve Fortune 100 firms, top research labs, and innovative startups as well. Hamamatsu’s mission is to improve the welfare of society through the advancement of photonics technology.

Responsibilities include :

  • Manage entire Return Authorization process utilizing our computer systems.
  • Research Return Authorization issues internally across departments (Sales and Accounting)
  • Movements of goods between customers, company and parent company and communication with Logistics department

Required Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy – intermediate level
  • Intermediate MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience in D365 and SAP
  • Experience communicating professionally with customers; verbal and written.
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in organizing and prioritizing multiple competing priorities.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Microsoft based system - ERP, CRM, Email-intermediate level.
  • 2 year college degree
  • Lotus Notes
  • Similar work-related experience
