Duties and Responsibilities:
This position supports HR operations by serving our employees and leadership teams. The HR Associate will be the primary contact for onboarding, credentialing, training, and payroll functions. Job duties include recruiting, personnel data management, and facilitating the onboarding/exit process as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day HR operational needs in onboarding and timecard/ADP management.
- Assists in on/offboarding by completing the checklist, reviewing collection and forms, tracking form completion, meeting document compliance, and saving forms into employee e-files.
- Assists in maintaining compliance with employee training through Relias, including reviews, tracks, and compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. Including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
- Completes the pre-employment background checks and employee eligibility verifications EI-9 process) to ensure 100% compliance with external agency audits.
- Maintains employee files accurately according to the written work instructions.
- Ensures the data for employee profiles in ADP Workforce Now is accurate and complete.
- Completes reports as assigned and that have work instructions for accuracy.
- Processes the payroll with the support of the CHR-CO and ensures payroll processing records are in each pay date folder to pass with 100% compliance with any external audit as required on the written work instructions for processing payroll.
Qualifications:
- Required HS diploma/GED with experience in Human resources, office administration, or combination.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects/requests simultaneously.
- Team player with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
