We are hiring a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Project Manager to oversee janitorial operations at a government healthcare facility in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, salaried position (minimum 40 hours/week). The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising approximately 60 union employees, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, maintaining quality control, and upholding safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of janitorial services at a government healthcare facility
- Supervise and support a staff of 60 union employees
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Serve as the main point of contact between HamHed, facility management, and government representatives
- Monitor performance, resolve employee issues, and maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, union agreements, and government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Requirements:The ideal HamHed Project Manager possesses the following skill set:
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Management experience required.
- Experience with UNION contracts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively via email or other communication channels.
- General knowledge of government contracting standards and/or property maintenance
- Ability to seek out the right people for resources, help or advice
- Willingness to occasionally and sometimes suddenly travel within the United States
- Capacity to lead through influence and negotiate/resolve conflicts effectively
