This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Manager in Heavy Civil Construction located in Springfield, OR. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing occupational health, safety training, EHS, accident investigation, and industrial safety measures on construction sites. Daily tasks include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, leading accident investigations, and implementing safety protocols.
- Occupational Health and Safety Training skills
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Accident Investigation and Industrial Safety expertise
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
