Apprentice Carpenter - Bridge

Responsibilities

• Report each day on time and ready to work, anticipate up to 6-10’s work schedule
• Ensure reliable transportation to jobsite
• Ensure project safety rules and environmental regulations are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Experience on heavy civil construction projects including bridges, highway, transit, and rail preferred, but not necessary
• A background in forming and pouring of footings, walls, columns, & bridge decks preferred, but not necessary
• Standard carpenter hand tools (Power tools supplied)
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
• Physically Capable of performing work in job description such as occasionally lifting up to 50-100Lbs.

• Valid driver’s license

• This is a safety sensitive position – drug screen, pre-employment background check & physical are required

Benefits:

• First Term Apprentice- $26.63/Hour
• On the Job Apprentice training program
• Potential to earn up to $44.39/Hour once at full Journeyman scale
