ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, physical requirements, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by incumbents of this class.)A Bachelors’ Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
OR
Four (4) years of direct work experience in social work, criminal justice, case management, as a paralegal, as a legal secretary, or in a related field. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Available to work overtime as required.
Must be able to qualify to serve as a Notary Public.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in the use of the Tennessee Child Support Enforcement Services (TCSES) database is preferred.
Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or another language is preferred.
Knowledge of laws relating to juveniles and child support is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires limited physical effort and primarily involves extended sitting, intermittent standing, intermittent walking, and extensive typing/computer keyboarding. This position requires occasional lifting and carrying of up to fifteen (15) pounds.
