Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager will support the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, guest service, and quality control.
- Assist in the creation and execution of wine programs, ensuring a diverse, exciting, and complementary wine list that enhances the dining experience.
- Provide expert wine recommendations to guests, guiding them through pairing options and educating staff on wine offerings.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and rotation of wines.
- Handle customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Assist with staff training and development, particularly focusing on wine education and service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the seamless pairing of wine with menu items.
- Help manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational budgets to ensure profitability.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the restaurant and wine storage areas.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fine dining or wine-centric environment.
- Strong knowledge of wines, including regions, varietals, and pairing techniques. Sommelier certification (e.g., WSET, CMS, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, providing clear direction and maintaining morale.
