Hours: 6AM - 2PM
Days: Monday - Friday
JOB SUMMARY
Provides direct patient care to the patients in the post anesthesia setting using the nursing process. Must be able to manage the care of assigned patients and cope with rapid patient turnover and high census. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to adult patients.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of the Basic Arrhythmia Class and Conscious Sedation Class is required, AHA BLS and ACLS required.
Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
Experience: One year nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Skills: Routine and critical care nursing skills.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Prolonged walking and standing required, with the ability to lift and move patients. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate rapid patient turnover and high census. Works in typical PACU setting with patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures. Required to work an on call schedule.
