My client, a well known commercial landscape company located in Aurora Co, is looking for a purchasing agent. This position is in office, not remote but they have great culture, so it's fun to be there.
Purchasing Agent job Description:
1. Manage procurement of materials in the most cost-effective manner.
2. Optimize business partnerships with key suppliers.
3. Negotiate with supplier partners for cost savings and volume discounts.
4. Work with suppliers on site amenity items with long lead times to ensure on time delivery and installation.
5. Coordinate deliveries to jobsites or yard.
6. Resolve material procurement or delivery issues.
7. Material tracking with regards to pricing and quantity per job against budget.
8. Tree tagging with clients as needed.
9. Creating, tracking and updating submittals for approval with each project.
10. Verifying, approving and coding invoices for orders placed along with tracking on Xcel spreadsheet.
11. Record, order and tracking of all Site Amenities supplies after submittal approvals.
12. Notify accountant once money has been received for Site Amenities and request checks as needed to purchase product.
