Job DescriptionThe Hamilton Wenham Regional High School mathematics department is looking for a highly-motivated, dynamic, student-centered math teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching mathematics, with a commitment to developing standards-based lessons and assessments, setting high expectations for all students, and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities: Develop thoughtful standards-based lessons and assessments in mathematics.Set high expectations for all students and utilize scaffolding and differentiation to support diverse learning needs.Display a collegial spirit that supports and enhances continual professional growth consistent with the educational goals and philosophies of our school community.Collaborate with all team members, including special educators, education support professionals, grade-level teachers, interventionists, and other support personnel.Assess students regularly and refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.Communicate regularly with students and families, involving families as partners in their childs education.About Hamilton-Wenham Regional High SchoolHamilton-Wenham Regional High School is a comprehensive high school that serves approximately 450 students in grades nine through twelve with a rigorous academic program.
