Bartender - Part- time Staybridge Suites Hotel  The Staybridge Suites Rochester University Hotel is looking for a candidate that will bring flair, creativity, and high energy to our new Staybridge Suites' The Bar and our Banquet events. The perfect candidate must have experience in fast paced environment, ability to multitask and adapts to the changing and diverse clientele. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately. Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed. Experience Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures. ServSafe and Tips certification is a plus but not necessary. For qualified candidates Tips and ServSafe training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote special. Experience in sales, catering, or retail math is a plus. As a bartender, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers, showcase your mixology skills, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
