Breakfast Attendant - Residence Inn, Columbus
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for monitoring the breakfast area ensuring all guest needs are addressed while focusing on providing outstanding customer service.
JOB PROFILE:
1. Daily Tasks
Maintains the breakfast bar with food, ensuring it’s well stocked in an organized and attractive manner and beverages are fresh, hot/cold, etc.
Frequently checks the breakfast bar for low food supply and efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins, and/or cups as necessary.
Removes and disposes of leftover food at the end of breakfast shift. Cleans breakfast bar and area according to established company and flag standards.
Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day’s shift.
Responds quickly and assists guests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner while providing outstanding customer service.
Cleans the breakfast area discarding of foods, and wiping down counters and tables, sweeping the floors.
Effectively communicates with guests regarding breakfast offerings and basic hotel information.
Responsible for receiving and putting away the breakfast order as it comes in and stores food properly, according to company and flag standards.
Assists the front desk staff, as needed.
Compliance and Training
A. Completes all company and Brand required training.
May perform other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma desired.
Dependable work background.

Must be mature, neat in appearance, courteous, and friendly.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work varied number of hours per week on a rotating basis.
Must be in uniform and wearing nametag at all times.

Must be able to learn and comprehend all company policies pertaining to his or her position and employment.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, carry, or push (up to 75 lbs.), lift (up to 50 lbs.), see (for dirt or stains), hear (for security purposes), climb stairs or ladders, and have manual dexterity.
