What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copywriter position at Hammer Media?
Hammer Media is a brand that represents Caleb Hammer and his YouTube Channels.
Amassing over 2 million subscribers and over 1 billion views in 3 years, our hit show Financial Audit is one of the fastest growing channels on the internet.
In this role, we want to work with you to put our messages on paper. You’ll be tasked with taking the voices of our content creators and amplifying that message among multiple content platforms.
Our brands are fun and interesting and you’ll be asked to add on and contribute to that brand voice.
We are looking for candidates located in the Austin area who are willing to come into the office in North Austin.
Responsibilities
- Writing and developing content for our courses.
- Writing blog posts on various topics around business and self development.
- Writing content in a variety of styles and formats.
- Writing ad copy.
- Posting and releasing your content.
- Editing and looking over written content from other team members.
- Optimizing content for search.
- Analyzing data and giving input on content strategy.
What Makes You A Fit
- 2 years of experience writing educational content and/or sales copy.
- Flexible, with an ability to quickly turn around projects.
- Familiarity and experience following brand guidelines.
- Demonstrates an ability to adapt to brand voice.
- An interest or understanding of personal finance, finance related topics as well as self help and business.
Nice to Have’s
- Familiarity with the YouTube space.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
