Blackhawk is looking for a Digital Marketing Copywriter. This person will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our strategy. Your ability to create high-quality, optimized content will drive organic traffic to our website and improve our search engine rankings.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a clear thinker, action-driven, and results-oriented. You will do well in this role if you’re self-driven, self-managed, client-focused, and creative. In addition, the ideal candidate for this role is strategic and results-oriented, with strong website management, research, and copywriting skills.
Responsibilities
Create content:
- Produce a wide range of content, including website copy, blog posts, articles, product descriptions, social media posts, and email campaigns, all while incorporating relevant keywords and adhering to best practices.
- Build stories using digital marketing best practices across advertising campaigns
Conduct research:
- Identify and analyze relevant keywords and search trends to inform your content creation strategy.
- Create and implement an editorial calendar to align with launches & promotions
Collaborate with the marketing team:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all copy aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
- Develop brand messages and stories that resonate with target audiences.
Monitor and analyze content performance:
- Track key metrics such as organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversions to measure your content's effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to answer questions naturally with ease and confidence.
Stay up-to-date on copy trends:
- Keep abreast of the latest algorithms and industry best practices to ensure that our content remains optimized and effective.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of copy principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough keyword research.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred but not required
- Amazing written and verbal client communication
- Exceptional relationship-building skills
- Experience adapting, innovating, and embracing change
- Self-starter, very detail-oriented, can multi-task, and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and effectively escalate issues as needed while understanding the impact on the overall business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
