What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English Teacher position at Hammond Academy of Science and Technology?
The Hammond Academy of Science and Technology is seeking an English teacher candidate . The school currently enrolls approximately 550 students in grades 6-12. The Academy serves a diverse population of students. The curriculum is project-based curriculum, reflecting the complexity of the real world. Instructional technology is infused throughout daily instruction and integrated into the curriculum and instructional methodologies. Partnerships with local organizations open the learning environment to the outside world.
Experience with project-based learning is preferable but not required.
Candidates must be certified teachers in the State of Indiana or hold appropriate out-of-state certificates which qualify for transfer to Indiana.
