Hammond Associates (est 1989) provides Speech-language Pathology, Audiology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Occupational Therapy services to individuals throughout the state of Maine. We are expanding services to our clients, and are looking for experienced and talented Behavioral Health Professionals to work alongside our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in school, community, and clinic settings. The candidate will acquire a good working knowledge of the principles and practices of ABA, as well the ability to demonstrate these principles to others. Strong organizational skills, people skills, and time management capabilities are essential elements to being successful in this role.
Basic Function
Provide direct 1:1 services as are written in the Individualized Treatment Plan and Behavior Management Plan of Hammond Associates’ clients in a special purpose school setting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college credit preferred.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work M,T, Th, F 8-3, and Wednesdays 8-1
- Must be an American citizen or maintain legal alien status.
- Must have a valid State of Maine driver’s license and ability and willingness to travel.
- Must not have any major moving violations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Complete all training requirements within established time frames.
- Meet with assigned Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for supervision.
- Complete and turn in necessary paperwork for the position on a daily basis.
- Explicitly follow plans written by the treatment team.
- Place the needs of the individual first.
- Provide high quality one-on-one instruction to the individual.
- Have the ability and composure to handle moderate to severe problem behaviors exhibited by the individual client in accordance to the Behavior Management Plan.
- Attend all sessions as scheduled.
- Document data according to the specific plan as described by the BCBA.
- Other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
