Job Description
Candidate will:
- Gathers and coordinates data pertaining to related programs and ensures compliance including duties that ensures processes are in place for internal reviews and management reviews
- Works along with administration, quality council, quality improvement committees, medical staff, consultants, managers, professional and technical staff, health departments, and others in the community
Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Nursing License in the State of Illinois
- Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Quality experience is preferred but not required
- Candidate is required to have effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and be able to work within a multidisciplinary work environment
- Must possess critical thinking skills and have strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of QI goals and functions as well as utilization review and risk management activities desirable
