What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites?

Additional duties listed below:
- Works independently to completion of the preventative maintenance checklist and completes minor repair work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc. to maintain the hotel and keep product quality to standard.
- Assists in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs and/ or replacement.
- Assists in checking and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
- Paints and finishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms if needed.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
