Banquet Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or catering services as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Experience in restaurant or catering environments preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems, such as Micros POS.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
