What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk position at Hampton Inn and Suites?
The front desk receptionist at Hampton Inn and Suites is responsible for providing quality customer service to all customers. Front desk personnel meet guest’s needs and expectations by showing their knowledge, accuracy and attention to details.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet hotel guests with smiles and helpful service
- Registers guests in to rooms and/or checks them out
- Takes room reservations over the phone and in person
- Answers phones and transfers calls appropriately
- Accurately handles cash, credit card and direct bill transactions
- Dispatches housekeeping and maintenance as needed
- Operates computer system and money handling equipment
- Arranges shuttle service for guests and other needs
- Performs miscellaneous filing, data entry and other office duties
- Makes guest feel welcome thru friendly personality and the attention to the guest’s needs
- Assists other departments, as needed, in promoting customer service
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven record of personal honesty and integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computers and money handling equipment
- Capable of working without close supervision
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
