Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Clean all check out (vacant, dirty) rooms thoroughly by changing sheets, duvets, pillow covers, bath rugs/mats, and towels and replenishing amenities as needed
- Cleans mirrors, hard surfaces; Disinfects doorknobs, remote, telephone
- Cleans and sanitizes guest bathrooms of assigned rooms, including bathtubs and/or showers, ink area and toilet. Sweeps and mops bathroom floor.
- Detailed and general cleanliness (sanitation) of entire guest room, to include dusting, vacuuming
- Restock carts with clean linen as needed throughout the day
- Replenish used glassware with clean ones in all assigned rooms daily
- Transport caddies containing supplies, brushes, and rags daily
- Make up beds, sofa and rollaway beds daily as needed
- Checks under mattress and under bed for dust, forgotten items, etc.
- Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to departmental policy and OSHA regulations
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Always maintains professionalism, demonstrating courtesy and respect to guests and co-workers
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk
- Must use hands to perform cleaning tasks, handle or feel objects
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch to clean
- Must have good near and far vision, including ability read and interpret written instructions/directions
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers, including two-radios
- Ability to distinguish smells
- Duties may be performed indoors/outdoors.
- Must be able to hear, may experience moderate noise level
