Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility while ensuring that all laundry services are performed to the highest quality. This position is essential in providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle dry cleaning services as needed, following proper protocols for garment care.
- Restock cleaning supplies and laundry materials as necessary to ensure efficient operations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting and moving items as needed.
