Housekeeper/Laundry

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing the laundering of linens and garments. Your contributions will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests and uphold the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Re-make beds and re-set guest rooms in time for check-in.
• Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for easy access.
• Perform ironing as needed, ensuring linens are treated with care.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and laundry areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning duties.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering and ironing techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently after training period.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
