What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Maintenance position at Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast Fort Jackson Area?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary
- Fabricate or repair equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and tenants
- Proficiency in using a CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting
