SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the overall upkeep of the facility. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of facility equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains scheduled preventive maintenance routines and inspections (i.e., electrical outlet receptacle inspections, company vehicle inspections, nurse call system operation, panic button device operation, employee-owned electrical safety inspections, PTAC cleaning, etc.) and implements new PMs as warranted.
- Maintains work order system, including generating work orders and/or receipting other department's requests, prioritizing and assigning workload.
- Performs predictive routine maintenance and facility repairs.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- Highs School / GED preferred
- Two years of experience performing facility maintenance or in the trades required. Specific experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Advanced training in an area of the trades preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment usage including hand/power tools and equipment; ability to perform basic plumbing work; carpentry; basic electrical work; painting; air conditioning; and general maintenance and repairs ensuring proper safety precautions.
- Work is considered to be very heavy, and requires exerting in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects in a manner of force, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move said objects.
