Perform maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and employees and to ensure compliance with all brand, governmental regulatory requirements. Job Description

Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on energy management, preventative maintenance and capital planning.
- Perform day-to-day requirements, execute preventative maintenance plan.
- Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outsiders.
- Educate and train all members in compliance with governmental and safety regulations.
- Ensure staff is properly trained on quality and service standards and has the tools and equipment and is empowered to carry out job duties in a timely, efficient manner.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Communicate with all hotel department heads to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
- Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Carry out preventative maintenance program to ensure facility is maintained and in service for our guests.
- May be responsible for hotel security to minimize risk of theft, crime and other hazards.
- Anything that contributes to a positive culture and the success of the hotel.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- One previous experience in a similar position (i.e. general building maintenance, construction, etc.).
- Basic computer skills required.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Professional certifications and licenses will be given higher consideration.
- Valid driver license required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week

- Weekends as needed
