Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to clean linens and garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before and after laundering.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas.
• Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring proper care for delicate fabrics.
• Ensure that all laundry is laundered in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and launder items effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
