What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry position at Hampton Inn Medical Park Wilmington NC?
Local Hampton Inn is looking to hire an experienced Hotel Laundry Attendant for our 120 room hotel property. Attention to detail, follow through and good time management skills are a must. 3-5 Days a week, year round position for the right person. This position will primarily be a mid-shift/evening shift.
WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS ARE MANDATORY! If you cannot work weekends/holidays please do not apply.
What we expect:
- Wash, Dry, and Fold all linen following Hilton Standards in a timely manner.
- Stocking the closets with material for the following day
- Separating Linen
- Keeping laundry room clean and organized
- Can work well both independently and with other co-workers
- Cleaning lint trap on a daily basis
- Notifying managers of inventory that we may be running out of
- Availability to work mainly mid-shifts/evenings (some mornings may be needed)
- Finding projects to do during downtime.
Notification of repairs or issues to housekeeping manager immediately
On time with dependable transportation
Able to accept feedback as well as constructive criticism.
Neat, well-kept appearance-- Black Scrubs required for work.
No drugs or alcohol
