Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team at [Hotel Name]. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabrics. You will ensure that all laundry is processed in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other fabrics according to hotel standards.
• Inspect laundry for damage or stains and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure that all laundry is processed and delivered promptly to meet the hotel’s operational needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry room and storage areas.
• Operate and maintain industrial washing and drying equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Monitor detergent and cleaning supplies inventory and report any low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Follow all hotel safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Handle guest laundry requests efficiently and discreetly when necessary.
• Assist with the delivery of clean linens and laundry to various departments within the hotel.
• Report any maintenance issues related to laundry equipment to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is an advantage, especially in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, especially during peak times.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy laundry loads (up to 30 lbs).
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and follow safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-demand environment.
• May require standing for long periods of time and performing repetitive tasks.
• Frequent exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals; proper handling and safety precautions are required.
