- Oversee all property positions in absence of the General Manager
- Assists the General Manager in directing and overseeing all operational activities and departments in the hotel to maximize revenue and deliver a positive experience and exceptional customer service for the guests.
- Ability to perform all Front Office, Housekeeping and operational duties.
- Ability to perform Sales and sales administrative duties.
- Ability to provide Sales support, prospecting new business, and managing current hotel accounts.
- Ensure that departments achieve or exceed guest's service expectations.
- Assist with staff training and development.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll and ordering procedures.
- Possess and utilize excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to deal with management, associates, guests, and general public in a courteous, tactful and patient manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management skills.
- Understand PMS and daily selling strategies. Delphi, PEP, and Excel experience a plus.
- Ability to work as a team player with all levels of hotel staff.
- Excellent guest relation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to cultivate customer relations and work with associates of various levels and backgrounds.
