Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, fabrication, and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Be able to perform caulking and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Take out old linen and trash from rooms that are checking out.
- Take out trash from around the properties.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.
