Job Overview: Breakfast Host
Responsible for preparing breakfast, including setting up, cleaning, organizing, and clearing tables with the charge to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and to ensure our guests have an outstanding stay. Required to keep a flexible schedule that includes days, holidays, and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to: General Manager - Kitchen Manager
Preparing Breakfast:
- Ensure breakfast is prepared according to brand standards, food safety standards, and hotel best practices.
- Confirm all items are restocked throughout entire shift including food and drink items, cleaning supplies, silverware, plates, napkins, etc.
- Inspect breakfast area and equipment for damages and repairs, informing maintenance and management immediately.
- Clean tables, chairs, counters, cabinets, dishes, kitchen, and all areas in breakfast room according to brand standards.
- Completes weekly food ordering and stocking.
- Remove garbage and trash.
- Maintain current Food Service certification.
- OSHA and Safety Data Sheets.
Team Work:
- Responsible to know, understand, and fulfill the InnTrusted Mission Statement.
- Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service.
- Respond to all emergency situations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining hotel key security system.
Guest Loyalty:
- Create guest satisfaction by providing fast, friendly and genuine hospitality.
- Assist guests with basic knowledge of local area to facilitate guest needs such as giving directions, identifying local attractions, etc.
- Ask guests to leave on-line reviews.
- Listen with empathy, apologize sincerely, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest issues.
- Follow the lost and found program.
Physical Requirements:
- Walking and standing required throughout the entire shift.
- Reaching, bending, carrying, and stooping throughout the entire shift.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to safely use them.
- Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries immediately.
- Adheres to company dress code.
