Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and other requests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Complete night audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel software is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality management is a plus
