Hampton Lumber is seeking an experienced HR Division Manager to join our team in Willamina, Oregon. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate their ability to provide strategic and technical Human Resource leadership in a manufacturing environment, and will play a crucial role in maintaining a workforce that drives our competitive advantage through strategic recruitment, training, and retention of top talent. This person will manage all work related to hiring, compensation, promotion, termination, career development, and retirement of the employees at the mill. The HR Manager’s job entails providing practical and consistent support, direction, and advice to the Leadership Team on HR procedures and policies, best practices, employment rewards, and benefits. This job will involve occasional travel to other mills and the corporate office, including some overnight stays. The HR Division Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager, with a dotted line to the HR Business Partner. Management may modify, add, or reallocate job responsibilities to better accommodate the business's evolving needs.
