Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Some on-call responsibilities)

Your day-to-day as a Case Manager - Child & Adolescent Intensive Care Coordination

As an Intensive Care Coordination Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will be at the forefront of providing crucial support to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance or Intellectual or Developmental Disability. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, devising effective treatment plans, and coordinating services to meet the unique needs of each child. By fostering family and community engagement, you will contribute to creating innovative service strategies that prioritize the well-being and progress of the children in your care. What matters most

To excel as an Intensive Care Coordination Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Counseling and a valid driver's license. Additionally, at least two years of experience providing children's mental health services to children with a mental health diagnosis. Knowledge and experience with DSM V diagnosing, and experience in care management functions.

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Counseling
  • Two (2) years of experience providing children's mental health care management services.
  • Knowledge and experience with DSM V diagnosing
  • Valid Drivers' License.
