Make a difference as a Crisis Stabilization - Therapist I
As a Therapist I at our Regional Crisis Stabilization Center (RCSC), you will manage a diverse caseload of clients facing mental illness and substance-related disorders, working in harmony with the agency's Crisis Continuum and Clinical Services. This role emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, allowing you to engage in rapid assessment and evaluation, while providing essential crisis intervention and psychiatric monitoring. Utilizing a brief stay model, you will focus on alleviating acute symptoms and psychiatric conditions to prevent hospitalization. Your responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and leading individual, couples, group, and family therapy sessions.
You will also provide psychoeducation and collaborate with other staff members, including mental health techs and peer recovery specialists, ensuring a comprehensive support system for clients. By identifying community resources and coordinating linkages, you will play a pivotal role in client stabilization, discharge planning, and successful aftercare, creating a lasting impact in their recovery journey.
