The knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must be a person who has had a substance use condition and who has a minimum of 12 months of successful recovery, including making progress in learning about and managing their condition and in developing a life outside of or in addition to this condition. Must complete the DBHDS 72-hour Peer Recovery Specialist Training within six months of hire.
